Kingston - Janet M. Kolts of Washington Ave., Kingston died Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at her home. She was 76. She was born in Carbondale, PA a daughter of the late William and Florence Bates Tacorchick. Janet had worked for Central Hudson and retired in 2003 as a receptionist for the Mid-Hudson Valley Federal Credit Union. On November 1, 1969, she married Francis H. Kolts. Mr. Kolts died previously. Surviving are two sons, Mark W. Turck of Naples, FL; Brad J. Turck of Villa Rica, GA; her daughter, Cheryl Ahouse of Kingston and two sisters, Rosemarie Post of Cary, NC and Elaine Cielo of Austin, TX. Also surviving are her grandchildren, David Kolts, Jason Kolts, Rachel Kolts, Ben Kolts, Garret Duffy, Ariana Turck, Kristin Molinaro, Mackenzie Turck, Amanda Quinn and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. A son, Larry F. Kolts died previously. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the oncology floor and infusion lab at HealthAlliance Hospital, Mary's Ave. Campus and Dr. Martin Tallman and the entire staff of the 12th. and 14th. Floors of Memorial Sloan Kettering Hospital. Entrusted to the care of the A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave., Kingston. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, 2:00 PM at Hurley Reformed Church.
