Janet L. Murray

Janet (Lasher) Murray, 55, of Kingston, NY, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018. She was born September 7, 1962 in Kingston, to the late Charles and Lorain Lasher. She was married to Peter B. Murray, who passed away on May 5, 2012.

Janet was a member of Fair Street Reformed Church, where she volunteered with the Youth Group and sang with the Praise Team. She enjoyed crafts, visiting Cape Cod, but above all she loved spending time with her family and friends, especially Lynda and Roy H. Anderson.

She is survived by her siblings, Doreen Hornyak, Debbie (Al) Morris, Patti (Fred) Bouton, Lory (Michael) Long, Peter (Tina) Lasher, Mark Lasher, and their families. She is also survived by her mother in law, Judy Murray and the Murray family, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents she is predeceased by her siblings, Charlene Johnson, Caroline Hildebrandt, and Jeanne Marie Lasher.

Entrusted to the care of A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston where family and friends may visit on Saturday March 10, 2018 from 10am to 12pm. The funeral service will begin at 12pm, Rev. Kendra VanHouten, officiating. Burial will follow in Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston.
