James La Volpe, 60, of Ulster Park, died August 20, 2020 at HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus.
Born in Astoria, NY, he was the son of the late James & Marie Biscoglia La Volpe.
James is survived by his fiancé, Pamela Fernandez of Ulster Park, a brother, Louis La Volpe and his wife Diane of Montgomery, NY, two sisters, Julia Orkopoulos and her husband Tom of Astoria and Helena Fuentes and her husband Jesse of Washingtonville, NY, two step children, Adam and William Fernandez, six nieces and nephews, Chanel, Rebecca, Jesse, Natasha, Marie and Noah and one great nephew, Zacharias. He is also survived by his two beloved dogs, Chloe and Martini.
James will be reposing at the Simpson-Hammerl Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave on Tuesday, August 25, 2020 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.
The funeral procession will form from the funeral home at 9:00 AM on Wednesday.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph’s Church.
Interment will be privately held.
