James G. Connelly, 67, of River Road, Ulster Park, NY, formerly of Kingston, NY, died Friday, October 30, 2009 at Ferncliff Nursing Home, Rhinebeck, NY. He was born August 2, 1942 in Kingston, NY to the late James Edward and Beatrice Gehrt Connelly.

1961 graduate of Kingston High School

He was in the United States Air Force 1962-1965.

James was a Postal Worker for 33 years, before retiring in 2003.

James was a communicant of Presentation RC Church, Port Ewen, NY

He is survived by his:
Wife; Regina Dawe Connelly and her Dear Friend Carole Zubee, of Kingston.
Son; James and his wife Cindy Connelly, Ulster Park, NY
Granddaughters; Ashley & Regina Connelly, Ulster Park, NY.
Brother; Glenn and his wife Sharon Connelly, Minneola, FL.
Sister In-law; Jo-Ann Ekstrom, Saugerties, NY
Sister In-law; Pam Bergeron and husband Dave, Catskill, NY
Several nieces, nephews, and their spouses.
Dear Friend; Jayne Luttinger, Town of Poughkeepsie.

Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 216 Broadway, Port Ewen, where at a funeral service will be held 8PM Monday 11/2/09.

Friends will be received at the funeral home Monday November 2nd, from 7 - 9 PM.

Burial in St Mary's Cemetery, Kingston Tuesday 1PM, with military honors provided by Joyce Schirick Post # 1386 VFW.
