James E. Liddle, 87, of Kingston, died November 28, 2013 at his home.
Born in Andes, NY, he was a son of the late Elliott & Maude Waterman Liddle. He was a veteran of the US Army, having served during the Korean Conflict. He worked for Silver lake Dairy as a sales man, and prior to serving in the Army, he worked for Babcocks Farms Dairy in Kingston. James was a parishioner of St. Josephs Church for many years and an avid gardener.
He is survived by his care provider for many years, Edward Sweeney & Family and longtime friend and neighbor Alma Strickland & Family.
In addition to his parents, James was predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Elizabeth Duffy Liddle, who passed in 2008.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 2, 2013 at Montrepose Cemetery at 11:00 AM, with military honors by the Joyce-Schirick Post 1386 Color Guard.
