James E. Jarman of Snyder Road, Saugerties died Tuesday, February 20, 2007 at Kingston Hospital. He was 47.
He was born in Glen Cove on March 31, 1959, a son of James Alfred Jarman and the late Gertrude Irene Smith Jarman.
A graduate of Locust Valley High School, class of ’78, he played Little League Football. A longtime resident of Bayville, Jim loved racing motorcycles and cars.
A former partner in the North Shore Tree Service on Long Island; he was then Tree foreman for Lewis Tree Service in Syracuse, and most recently for Asplundh Tree Expert Co., Horsham, PA
After moving to this area, in the early 1990's, Jim was active in the Mt. Marion Fire Department and served as Director and Lieutenant.
Surviving are his wife Bonnie Hall Jarman; his sons James A. and Anthony Jarman both of Saugerties; his parents James A. & Claire M. Jarman of Factoryville, PA; two brothers Martin of New York City and Thomas and his wife Tammy of Stafford, VA, two sisters Lee Seiderer of Vineland, NJ and Elaine Judge of North Fort Myers, FL; two nieces, two nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Friday from 2-4 and 6-9 PM. A candlelight service of remembrance will be conducted at 8:00 PM.
