James Dolce

James E. Dolce, 72, of Port Ewen, NY, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024 at the Hudson Valley Hospice House of Dutchess in Hyde Park, NY of Pancreatic and Liver Cancer. He was born on September 12, 1952 in Teaneck, NJ and was the son of the late James Dolce and Alice M. Cutler. 

James served in the United States Air Force. He worked as a Security Guard for various agencies in the Capital District. He also enjoyed working as an auto mechanic. Jim loved the water and graduated from The Chapman School of Seamanship in Florida. 

He is survived by his wife Susan Latz Dolce, of Port Ewen. NY, his son James (Jimmy) L. Dolce, his daughter Carrie Anne Dolce, his brother and sister-in law Phillip A. and Anne Marie Nolan-Dolce, sisters-in-law Mary Ann Persell, and Rhonda R. Latz, brother-in law Ronald “Skip” his wife Alison Latz. Step-sons and wives, John R. and Jenn Morgan Jr., Shawn M. and Erica Morgan, 9 Grandchildren and 1 Great-Grandchild along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Port Ewen, NY. The funeral service will be held at 10am on Monday, October 14, 2024 at the Town of Esopus United Methodist Church, 151 W Main St, Port Ewen, NY 12466. Burial will take place at a later date.
