Jack Gold of Becket St., Kingston died Monday, February 21, 2005 at Benedictine Hospital. He was 72.
He was born in Centerville, Iowa on August 6, 1932. He graduated from Iowa State University.
Jack served in the US Army from 1953 - 1955 in Korea. He moved to this area in 1956.
A 36 year employee at I.B.M., Kingston, Jack retired as a Senior Engineer and was a mathemetician. He belonged to the Quarter Century Club.
Surviving are his daughter Cynthia Andreassen with whom he lived; one stepson Thomas Cahill and his wife Linda of Highland; one brother David Gold of Santa Barbara, CA; two grandchildren Kristopher Cherny and Amanda Andreassen and three nephews.
Reposing at Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Thursday from 5:00 - 6:30 PM. At 6:30 a funeral service will be conducted. Cremation at Wiltwyck Cemetery will be private.
