Isom Clinton, Jr., 61, aka ''July Jam'' of Farrelly Street, Kingston, NY, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at his residence after a battle with colon cancer. He was born October 29, 1946 in Kingston, NY to Catherine Armstrong Clinton, of Atlanta, Georgia and the late Isom Clinton, Sr.
Isom had worked for Con Rail as a trackman for over 26 years until his retirement. He was a man about town and was respected by the community as a productive citizen.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his daughter Ciearra P. Herzog, Kingston, NY, twin sons Jamal & Jameel Clinton, Kingston, NY, son Tyrell Swan, Kingston, NY, sister Fannie M. Holland, Kingston, NY, Kathleen M. Cooper, Atlanta, GA, Linda R. Larson, Atlanta, GA, one aunt, several uncles and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and grand kids.
Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. A Homegoing Celebration will be held at the Riverview Baptist Church, 240 Catherine Street, Kingston on Friday at 1:00 pm. Rev. Harold R. Jolly, officiating.
