Isidore "Izzy" Rosen of Kingston died Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Golden Hill Health Care Center. He was 90.
He was born in the Bronx, a son of the late Samuel and Bessie Rosen.
Mr. Rosen served in the US Army during WW II in the European Theatre of Operations.
He graduated from City College of New York with a Bachelors degree in Accounting. For most of his career he was employed by Bulova Watch Company where he held the title of Treasurer. After retirement from Bulova he became the Vice President of Finance for M. Fabrikant.
His wife, Gertrude Canter Rosen died March 14, 2010. Two sisters Julia Gooseman and Sydell Slater both died previously.
He served in the US Army during WW II in the European Theatre of Operations
Mr. Rosen was a member of Temple Beth El in Poughkeepsie.
Surviving are his daughter Penny Rosen of Larkspur, CA, his son Ron Rosen and his wife Laurie of Kingston, his granddaughter Kate Rosen, many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted by Rabbi Neal Loevinger on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at Temple Beth El Cemetery, Route 44, Poughkeepsie.

FROM THE SOUTH/NEW YORK: -Taconic State Parkway north to exit for Route 44 West to Poughkeepsie-West on Rte 44 through Pleasant Valley for about 6 miles (watch for Arnoff Storage on - Entrance to the cemetery follows shortly afterward on the right at the sign "TEMPLE BETH-EL CEMETERY" and is directly opposite Plesantview Road.
