Irving R. Harris, of Ten Broeck Commons Nursing Home, Lake Katrine, died Sunday, June 26, 2011. He was 78. He was born in Philadelphia, PA a son of the late Solomon and Mollie Lessick Harris. He served in the US Army, in Germany, during the Korean Conflict. Irv moved to this area in the 1950's and, for 30 years, worked as a manufacturing supervisor for EGG Rotron. He later worked at Herzog's, Kingston. Irv lived in Boca Raton, Florida from 1999 2005, then relocated to Albany and returned to this area in 2008. Father of Michael Harris of Bloomington and Paul Harris of Albany; brother of Ester Isaacs and her husband Marvin of Poughkeepsie and Boynton Beach, FL; grandfather of Johnathan Harris, Karl and Shannon Neslon. Nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside services will be conducted on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. at Beacon Hebrew Alliance Cemetery, Fishkill.
