Ines Darquea Rispoli, formerly of Franklin Street, Kingston died Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at the Hudson Valley Rehabilitation and Extended Care Center in Highland after a long illness. She was 89.
She was born in Brazil on July 20, 1920 and immigrated to this country in her late 20's. She settled in the Bronx and worked, for many years, in the NBC Building, Rockefeller Center as a waitress for Savarin Coffee.
Ms. Rispoli moved to Kingston in 1970 and worked as a seamstress.
Two former husbands, Gonzalo Darquea and Anthony Rispoli and two sisters Aida and Edith all died previously.
Surviving are her son, Ivan Darquea of Kingston and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. at Montrepose Cemetery, Kingston.
