Hildegard Roland - Christiana

Hildegard ''Hilli'' A. Roland - Christiana, 81, of Walnut Street, Hurley, NY, died Monday, December 7, 2009 at Kingston Hospital. She was born May 4, 1928 in Bremen, Germany, to the late Frederick and Alma (Nitsche) Henneke. She was married to John Christiana, for 34 years, who survives at home.

She was a graduate Mineola High School. She had been a sales associate at Sears in Kingston for many years, prior to that she was the co - owner of Henneke Manufacturing in High Falls, NY. She had been an active member of the YMCA, and in particular enjoyed swimming.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her sons Rick A. Roland and his wife Kathy, Accord, NY, Greg J. Roland and his wife Rose Marie, Palm Bay, FL, grandchildren Jessica Roland - Nedden and her husband Chris, Stone Ridge, NY, Joel Roland and his wife LeAnna , Kerhonkson, NY, and Greg Roland, Jr., Cave Junction, Oregon, great grandchildren Austin Taszak, Rachel Roland, & Lucas Roland.

Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, Friends may call on Friday from 5 - 7 pm. Services will be held on Friday at 7:00 pm, Rev. Dr. David Silva, officiating.
