Henry G. Hoferer

Henry G. Hoferer of Chatham, NJ died Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at King James Care Center. He was 85. He was born in Newark, NJ, the only child of the late Louis and Theresa Bauer Hoferer. Henry served as a signalman in the US Navy during WWII. He worked as a pressman for the Newark Printing Company until his retirement. Beloved husband of Margaret Garg Hoferer who died January 24, 2006, loving father of Sharon Hoferer of Esopus, Nancy Malave and her husband Audeliz of Union, NJ and George Hoferer and his wife, Sharon of Piscataway, NJ; grandfather of Melissa Bastos and her husband, Rick and Nicholas Malave; and great-grandfather of Cali and Shyla Bastos. Funeral services were held in Union, NJ on Friday, November 4, 2011. Entombment was in St. Gertrude's Cemetery, Colonia.
