Henrietta Atkins

October 12, 1921 — December 30, 2016

Henrietta (Lewis) Atkins, 95, of Kingston, NY, formerly of Port Ewen, passed away Friday, December 30, 2016. She was born October 12, 1921 in East Kingston, to the late George and Alice (Banks) Lewis.

She was married to Sterling "Bud" C. Atkins who passed in 2008. Henrietta was a long time member of the Town of Esopus United Methodist Church.


She is survived by her children, Sterling "Bud" Atkins, Jr. and his wife Karen, Kathryn Scully, and Betty Lou Dennin, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her daughter, Jane McIntosh and son in law David McIntosh, as well as several brothers and sisters and one grandson.


Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, where friends and family may visit on Thursday January 5th from 10am to 12pm with the service starting at 12pm. Burial will follow in Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston. In lieu of flowers donations can made to the American Cancer Society at www.Cancer.org .
