Helene Ava Fishkin

Helene Ava Fishkin, 65, of Saugerties, NY, passed away suddenly on Monday, November 28, 2016.

She was born May 7, 1951 in Poughkeepsie, NY to the late Benjamin and Ruth (Mones) Fishkin.


Helene was a Kingston High School and Ulster County Community College graduate. She worked for Ulster County Department of Social Services for 35 years.


She is survived by her children, Melissa (Marc) Sasso of Saugerties, Marc (Jennifer) Rolfe of Wesley Chapel, Fl., her grandchildren, Mia and Marley Sasso, and Shayna and Jayden Rolfe, her companion, Paul McEvoy of Saugerties, her sister, Roberta M. DuBois of Cherry Hill, NJ, her nephew, Brian DuBois, her neice, Andrea Lanutti, as well as several great nieces and nephews.


Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Kingston. A graveside service will take place at 12noon on Thursday December 1st at Montrepose Cemetery in Kingston. The family will be observing Shiva on Thursday December 1st from 7pm to 9pm and Friday December 2nd from 11am to 1pm at 131 Hill Top Road, Saugerties, NY 12477.
