Helen R. Paradies

Helen R. Paradies of the Governor Clinton Apartments, died Friday, November 18, 2011 at Kingston Hospital. She was 96 She was born in the Bronx, a daughter of the late Charles and Agnes Muldoon Bauerle. As a dancer, Helen performed with the Minsky Bros. and Ziegfeld in New York City. A longtime are resident, Helen was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church. Beloved wife of the late Walter Paradies, loving mother of Madge Goercke of Kingston, Barry Paradies of Port Ewen, Richard Paradies of Kingston and the late John Peters; sister of James Bauerle of Bronx, NY, the late Catherine Maher, the late Anna Coffey, the late Grace Reeder, the late Herbert Bauerle, the late Philip Bauerle, the late Charles Bauerle and her late sister Agnes. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive. Reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral procession will form Tuesday at 9:15 AM from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church at 10 AM. Interment will follow in Montrepose Cemetery.
