Helen Patricia Sleight

Helen ''Pat'' Sleight, 86, of Port Ewen, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016. She was born November 7, 1929 in New Brunswick, NJ to the late John and Elizabeth (Varga) Molnar. She was married to the love of her life, Harvey J. Sleight, who passed away in 2010.

Pat had been employed at Benedictine Hospital as an EKG technician and had also worked with Dr. Feldman and Dr. Basile. She had been a member of the Town of Esopus United Methodist Church. She enjoyed following youth sports, especially girls softball and was the Chairman of the Town of Esopus Girls Softball League. Her favorite thing to do was to watch her children and grandchildren play sports. She was known to many as Ma Sleight or Grandma Sleight and welcomed everyone into her home. She will be greatly missed by all.

Pat is survived by her children, Robert (Mary) McCrindle, Bruce (Karen) McCrindle, Lisa Sleight, Charles Naccarato, John (Michelle) Sleight, and her grandchildren, Melody Naccarato, Jordan Sleight, and Elizabeth, Rebecca, and Nicholas McCrindle.

Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Port Ewen, where services will be held privately.
