Helen Norton

Helen Norton, age 82, of Kyserike Road, Accord died Sunday, May 4, 2008 at Ten Broeck Commons, Lake Katrine. Mrs. Norton was born November 1, 1925 in Manhattan, the daughter of the late Josef and Anastasia Demonovich Skavaronek. Wife of the late Robert E. Norton who died on July 20, 1984.

She had been employed by Ulster Savings Bank in the research department, prior to that she had worked at Rotron in Olivebridge. Mrs. Norton was a communicant of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Rosendale She enjoyed sewing, knitting and gardening.

She is survived by her children Pamela A. Norton of Accord NY, Robert E. Norton of Hancock, NY and Anne Hunt of NC, seven grandchildren; a great grandson; nieces and nephews, a dear friend Anne Sullivan of Fairlawn, NJ. She was predeceased by five brothers and a sister

The funeral procession will form on Wednesday at 9:00 am at the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY.and proceed to St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, Rosendale where at 10 am a Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated. Burial in Fairview Cemetery, Stone Ridge. The family will receive their friends on Tuesday from 2- 4 & 7 - 9
