Helen M. Olund

Helen M. (Souminen) Olund, 89, of Ulster Park, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Wingate at Ulster in Highland. She was born May 18, 1923 in Rifton, NY to the late Kosti and Nenna Suominen. She was married to her loving husband of 39 years, Henry Olund. Henry passed away in 1992. Helen was a Kingston High School graduate, class of 1942. Helen is survived by her sons, Rick Olund of Ulster Park and Ronald Olund of Elk River, MN, and her grandchildren, Jesse & Jaime of Coon Rapids, MN, Chris Olund of Blaine, MN and Bryan Olund of Ulster Park.




Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 216 Broadway, Port Ewen, where friends may call on Monday from 10am to 12pm with the funeral service starting at 12pm. Burial will follow in Rosendale Plains Cemetery, Rosendale. The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, P.O.
