Helen G. Davis

Helen G. Davis, 94, of Kingston, passed away on January 18, 2019 at Ten Broeck Center in Lake Katrine, NY. Born May 17,1924 in the Town of Olive, she was the daughter of the late John B. Davis and Ivah (Beesmer) Davis. Helen graduated from the Moran-Spencer School of Business and was employed by Fessenden Shirt Factory, Benedictine Hospital, and Saxon Hill House in Olivebridge. She enjoyed gardening, playing the accordion, and was a member of the Wesleyan Community Church in Skohan.

She is survived by her brother, Frank Davis and his wife Charlotte of Accord, several generations of nieces and nephews, as well as her sister in law, Doris Davis of Kingston, and her brother in law, Clarence Elmendorf of Olivebridge. She is predeceased by her siblings, Kenneth Davis, Alice Elmendorf, Clara Davis and her half-brother, John Davis. The family would like to especially thank the staff of Ten Broeck Commons, Ashokan Unit, for the wonderful care they provided.

Entrusted to the care of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Kingston. A graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Stone Ridge, on Tuesday January 22, 2019 at 10am, with Rev. Andy McCutcheon, officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to, Wesleyan Community Church of Shokan, 19 Du Bois Rd, Shokan, NY 12481.
