Helen F. (Minnikine) Muller, 90, a long time resident of Tilson, NY, died peacefully Sunday, July 10, 2011 at Golden Hill Health Care Center, Kingston. She had lived at Mountain Valley Manor, Kingston for two years prior to moving to Golden Hill.
She was born February 14, 1921 in Lake Katrine, NY to the late Frank Minnikine and Mary (Gottleib) Minnikine.
She married her husband of 55 years John F. Muller on June 20th 1940. John passed away on October 27th 1995.
On November 11th 2000 she married Louis Muenkel. Louis passed away on December 22, 2010.
Helen was a Homemaker and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and the theater.
She was a parishioner of St. Peter's RC Church in Rosendale where she was a member of the Rosary Altar Society. She was also a member of the Rosendale Senior Citizens Group.
Helen is survived by her children Gail Corcoran and her husband Joseph of Branchville, NJ, Frank Muller and his wife Jennifer of Charlotte, NC, Loretta Gill and her husband John of Hurley, NY, grandchildren, John and Michael Nelson, Deborah Line, Thomas Corcoran, Frank Muller Jr. and Kayleigh Muller, Nicole, John Jr. and Daniell Gill, 8 great-grandchildren, step children Raymond Muenkel and his wife Sally of Lancaster, PA, Girard Muenkel and his wife Pat of Raleigh, NC, Virginia and her husband Jim Hoffman of Colonie, NY, Richard Muenkel and his wife Barb of Beacon, NY, Robert Muenkel and his wife Margaret of Hopewell Junction, NY, 2 Step Grand Daughters, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents and husbands she is predeceased by her son John Muller.
Entrusted to the care of the A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, NY 12401, where the procession will form on Wednesday at 10:00 am and proceed to St. Peter's RC Church in Rosendale where at 11:00 AM a mass of Christian burial will be celebrated.
Burial will follow in Rosendale Plains Cemetery, Rosendale, NY.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 4 - 7 pm at the funeral home.
