Helen Block

Helen Block, 84, of Kingston, died Monday, March 28, 2016 at her home. Born in Brooklyn, she was a daughter of the late William and Paula Koestring Block. Helen was very affectionate, had a great sense of humor and loved to be helpful. She took pride in her appearance always dressing well and wearing her jewelry. She also loved sweets, especially cake. Helen is survived by her niece, Melissa Beckoff of Victorville, CA and all of her friends and family at the ARC of Ulster. Helen will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave on Wednesday, March 30, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 noon at the funeral home, with Pastor Paul Britton of Immanuel Lutheran Church, officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Montrepose Cemetery
