Harry S. Farrier II of Timberwall Road, Saugerties died Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Benedictine Hospital. He was 68.
He was born November 28, 1939 in Poughkeepsie, a son of the late Harry and Kathrine Rowe Farrier Sr.
For many years, he worked in maintenance. He was a member of the Service Employees International Union. He was also a member of the Poughkeepsie Exempt Fireman Assoc.
Surviving are three sons, Harry S. Farrier III and his wife Melissa of Poughkeepsie; Scott Farrier and his wife Annette Ellsworth of Ulster Park; Michael Farrier of Ulster Park; one daughter, Michele Gotta and her husband Paul of Saugerties; one brother, Bruce Farrier of New York City; two sisters, Elaine Serwatka of Hudson and Barbara Tsamoydikis of Fishkill. Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive.
Friends will be received at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston on Sunday from 2 - 4 PM. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM by Rev. Howard Smith.
