Harry S. Farrier II

Harry S. Farrier II of Timberwall Road, Saugerties died Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at Benedictine Hospital. He was 68. He was born November 28, 1939 in Poughkeepsie, a son of the late Harry and Kathrine Rowe Farrier Sr. For many years, he worked in maintenance. He was a member of the Service Employees International Union. He was also a member of the Poughkeepsie Exempt Fireman Assoc. Surviving are three sons, Harry S. Farrier III and his wife Melissa of Poughkeepsie; Scott Farrier and his wife Annette Ellsworth of Ulster Park; Michael Farrier of Ulster Park; one daughter, Michele Gotta and her husband Paul of Saugerties; one brother, Bruce Farrier of New York City; two sisters, Elaine Serwatka of Hudson and Barbara Tsamoydikis of Fishkill. Many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive. Friends will be received at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston on Sunday from 2 - 4 PM. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 PM by Rev. Howard Smith.
