Grace A. Guldy

Grace A. Guldy, 82, of Elmendorf Street, Kingston, died Sunday evening, April 15, 2012 at Hudson Valley Rehabilitation Center, Highland. She was born December 12, 1929 in Kingston, the daughter of the late George and Mabel Cole Guldy.

Grace had attended Kingston High School and had worked for Met Life in Kingston for 25 years until her retirement in 1994. She enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with the family, her pets and feeding birds and squirrels

She is survived by her loving grandchildren, Scott Lucas, Bruce W. Ellsworth and his wife Valerie, Grace M. Ellsworth, Bruce Lucas, Nick and his wife Nichole Lucas and Adam Lucas, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and her beloved dogs Gizmo and Katie. She was predeceased by her children Dennis Lucas, Bruce Lucas, Diane Ellsworth and her siblings George, Betty and Fred Guldy.

Entrusted to the care of Eric Keyser, Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, the family will receive their friends on Tuesday from 5 - 8 pm. The service will be on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial in Wiltwyck Cemetery.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Ulster County SPCA, 20 Wiedy Rd, Kingston, NY 12401.
