Goldie Miller, formerly of Allentown, died October 28, 2005 at her daughter’s home in High Falls, NY. She was 97.
Born in Lithuania on May 1, 1908, she was a daughter of the late Abraham and Rose Senderowitz. She immigrated to the US as a child and settled in Allentown.
A classically trained ballerina, she danced professionally in Allentown and New York City. A designer of recreational apparel in Allentown, Mrs. Miller was a violinist, knitter and equestrian. She volunteered at Cedar Crest Hospital in Allentown.
Mrs. Miller moved to this area in 1996 to live with her daughter.
Her husband Earl Aron Miller, brothers Morris, Joseph, Ruby, and Stephen and sisters Anna and Gertrude all died previously.
Surviving are her daughter Jone Miller and her husband Steven Schoen of High Falls, her son Gary Miller and his wife Melody of Plano, TX; two grandchildren Danyielle and Rachel Miller; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday at 1:00 PM at Congregation Sons of Israel Cemetery, Allentown, PA.
