Goldie D. Moore

November 5, 1931 — February 13, 2010

Goldie D. (VanDermark) Moore, 78, of Port Ewen, NY, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 13, 2010. She is remembered as a loving wife, mom and Nanny. She was born November 5, 1931 in Coxsackie, NY to the late John and Catherine (Cross) VanDermark.


She married John A. Moore on March 4, 1961 in Catskill, NY. Jack died on 12/25/1999.


When her children were growing up she enjoyed being a Cub Scout and Girl Scout leader, as well as managing a girl's softball team. Gathering with family and singing with her sisters brought her joy. As a member of Lomontville Assembly of God, she enjoyed working on many "behind the scenes" projects.


Before retiring in 1995, Goldie was a Camera Operator for Medrex Ltd., Port Ewen, NY.


Goldie is survived by her:


Daughter Stephanie and son-in-law David Lettieri, Ulster Park, NY, and their children David and Matthew


Son John and daughter-in-law Michele Moore, Port Ewen, NY, and their children Johnny and Krissy


Stepson James and daughter-in-law Eleanor Moore, Salt Point, NY, and their children Kelsey, Erin, Liam, Willis Williams and family


Stepson Robert and daughter-in-law Linda Moore, Port Orange, FL, and their children Robert and Caroline and family.


Sisters Laura Deyo, Earlton, NY, and Evelyn Cotich, Catskill, NY


Many Nieces & Nephews


Predeceased by her brothers Raymond, Stanley, Robert, George, Elton. Sisters Madeline, Lillian, Beatrice, Dorothy, Margaret, Catherine


Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston.


A celebration of her life will be held at Lomontville Assembly Of God, 123 Ashokan Road, Kingston, NY at 11:00 AM officiated by Rev. Alex Panos.


Burial will follow in Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston, NY


Friends may call at Lomontville Assembly Of God, Kingston on Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. 338-8679
