Gloria L. Myers

Gloria L. Myers, 90, of Kingston, NY, formerly of Florence Street, died Friday, June 5, 2015 at home. She was born in Trenton, N.J., the daughter of the late Herbert E. Barlow and Elizabeth Barlow. She graduated from Trenton Central High, she attended the New Jersey State Teachers College at Trenton now known as the College of New Jersey, was a member of the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corps and a graduate of Mercer Hospital School of Nursing obtaining her R.N. in 1946.


She has lived in Kingston for many years where she was a former member of the Kingston Hosp. Auxiliary, Old Dutch Church Women's Guild, Choir Mothers, a charter member of the Zonta Club of Kingston and secretary for Myers Electric, Inc.


Survivors include her sons and their families, Gregory & Susan of Chappaqua, N.Y., Jan & Donna of Chatham, N.J., Terry & Colleen of Stone Ridge, N.Y., her grandchildren, Bree Snow, Hallie, Katherine, Kristin, Christopher, and Megan Myers. She was pre deceased by her brother Stanley Barlow of Canoga Park, C.A., and her husband Raymond F. Myers who died Sept. 1, 2006.


Entrusted to the care of A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, where friends and family may visit on Sunday June 7th from 3 to 6pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday June 8th at 10:30am at the funeral home.
