Glenn Goldstein, 58, of Red Hook, formerly of New York City, died Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Northern Dutchess Hospital after a short illness. Born in Brooklyn, he was a son of Harriet Malamud Goldstein of Brooklyn and the late Samuel Goldstein. In high school, Glenn was an all state sprinter. He received a bachelor's degree from the Wharton School of Business. Glenn was a Managing Director of Portfolio Management for Focused Wealth Management, Highland. He was a past President of the Rotary Club of Red Hook and past President of the Red Hook Rotary Foundation as well as the past Co Chairman of the Red Hook Democratic Party. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Susan Goodman-Goldstein of Red Hook, whom he married on July 15, 1979, a daughter, Sasha Goldstein-Sabbah and her husband Yaniv of The Hague, Netherlands, a son, Joshua Goldstein of New Paltz, a sister, Bonnie Steinbach and her husband Roy of Brooklyn, two grandchildren, Dalia & Rebecca Sabbah. Four nieces and two nephews also survive. A funeral service will be held at the Woodstock Jewish Congregation on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in Montrepose Cemetery. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Woodstock Jewish Congregation, 1682 Glasco Turnpike Woodstock, NY 12498 or the Red Hook Rotary Foundation, P.O. Box 88, Red Hook, NY 12571.
