Glenn D. Dickson

Glenn D. Dickson, 57, of Wood Street, Kingston, died Saturday, July 30, 2011 at his residence. He was born October 23, 1953 in Kingston, the son of the late Hazel and Lillian Dickson.




Glenn was a graduate of Kingston High School, he was an active member of St. Mark's AME Church, he had played in the drum and bugle corp competitions and he was in a number of local bands, he was an avid fisherman. Glenn volunteered to help in many ways in the community, and was well liked and loved by his family and friends.




He had worked for Mother Earth in Kingston, The Day Treatment Center in Poughkeepsie and Prestige Motors, currently he was a deliveryman for Bulldog News.




He is survived by his wife Maryann Dickson, a son Shawn Colvin, a host of family, cousins and friends also survive. He was predeceased by sister Louise Dickson and a brother Larry Clinton.



A Homegoing Service will be held at St. Marks AME Church on Monday at 11 am, friends may call from 10 - 11 am. Burial in Montrepose Cemetery.
