Glenford P. Beesmer, Jr., 67, of Kingston, NY, passed away suddenly at home on Monday, September 20, 2021. He was born December 8, 1953, son of the late Glenford P. Beesmer, Sr. and Patricia Volpe, whom survives.
"Junior", as he was known to his family, and "Glen", as he was known to his friends, was an Avid NASCAR fan, and enjoyed watching the Daytona 500 as well as other NASCAR events. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, was an avid pool player, and had a love for animals. Glen held the track and field record in 440 relay for many years at Onteora High School, and raced at the state level. He worked as a carpenter.
Glen is survived by his companion of 34 years, Charlene Gregory, his mother, Patricia Beesmer, his daughter, Naomi Amell, his son-in-law, Scott Amell, and son Matt Hoy, his brother, Bruce Beesmer, his sister, Eileen Frahm, his brother-in-law, John Frahm, his grandchildren, Dylan Amell, Colby Amell, and Myles Amell, his nieces, Shanni Frahm, Jenny Beesmer, Amelia Roberts, his nephew, Danny Beesmer, as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Glen loved his family very much.
