Gladys F. Ellsworth, 90, of Kingston, passed away April 4, 2013 at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck. She was born July 21, 1922 in Ponchockie in Kingston to the late Charles and Catherine (Markle) Jansen. She was wife of the late Fred Ellsworth who passed away in 2000.
Gladys worked for Montgomery Wards and then worked for Sears for 28 years until her retirement. She was a former member of the Joyce Scherrick Post #1386 VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Gladys is survived by her cousins: Patricia DeGraff and her husband Paul DeGraff Sr. of Kingston, Lori German of Ewing, NJ, her dear friend, Mary Mayone of Kingston, as well as many cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Robert Adams in 1999.
Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, where friends may call on Sunday from 6 - 8pm.
