Geraldine Kukuk

Geraldine "Gerry" Kukuk, 97, of Hurley, NY, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at home. She was born November 7, 1923 in Arkville, NY, daughter of the late Roland and Adda Middaugh. Geraldine was married to Edward Kukuk, Edward passed away in 1990.

Gerry attended St. Christina's School in Cooperstown and later Albany Business College. For many years she worked for Ulster County. She enjoyed crafts and loved making dresses, knitting, and crocheting. She was a beautiful and giving woman, everyone she came into contact with thought she was nice person. She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn (Eugene) Matheus, her granddaughter, Melinda Salinas, Melinda's children, Ashley Williams, Cassandra Salinas, Rebecca Salinas, Samantha Salinas, and Gabriel Salinas, her grandson, Scott Matheus, Scott's children, Kalysta Matheus and Anya Matheus, her great great granddaughter (Ashley's daughter), Isabella Thomas, her daughter, Marcia Sauerzopf, her granddaughter, Heather Tripp, Heather's children, Annabelle Beatty, Rebecca Beatty, and Bonnie Tripp. In addition to her husband and parents she is predeceased by her brothers, Robert, Donald, Walter, and Kenneth Middaugh.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, Kingston. A graveside service will be held at 12:30pm on Monday January 25, 2021 at Wiltwyck Rural Cemetery.
