Gerald Every

Gerald “Jerry” Every, Jr., 86, of Kingston, NY, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023 at home. He was born on March 20, 1936 in Kingston, NY, son of the late Gerald Every, Sr. and Doris (Barmann) Every.

He was a graduate of Kingston High School, Class of 1953 and later worked for IBM in Kingston for 37 years in Management of Large System Tests until his retirement in 1991. He was a member of the IBM Quarter Century Club. After retirement, he worked for Darmstadt Overhead Doors and also on the Rip Van Winkle. He was a member of the Reformed Church of Port Ewen.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Catherine Every, his daughter, Tracy (Jim) Guston, his sons, Steven Every and Lewis Every, his grandson, Andre Miller, as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and other dear family members. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his siblings, Judith Dyers and Bruce Every.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Saturday February 18, 2023 from 10am to 1pm, with the funeral service taking place at 1pm. Burial will follow in Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston, NY.
