Genevieve M. Terwilliger

Genevieve M. "Ginger" Terwilliger of Holland Dr. died Saturday, October 11, 2008 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 69. She was born May 14, 1939 in Kingston, a daughter of the late Peter and Kathryn E. DeVeau Castillo. Mrs. Terwilliger waitressed in area resaurants and retired from Medrex Ltd in Port Ewen. Following her formal retirement, she devoted herself to baby sitting her adored grandchildren. Surviving is her husband, Floyd Terwilliger; two daughters, Rose Sceffield and her husband Harry of Woodstock and Susan Terwilliger of West Hurley; one son, Floyd Terwilliger and his wife Ilona of Lake Katrine. Eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. A sister, Muriel Terwilliger died previously. Reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston on Tuesday from 2 4 & 7 9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Peter's Church, Kingston at 10:00 AM. Cremation will be in Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery. Inurnment will take place in St. Peter's Cemetery at a later date. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society, 95 Schwenk Drive, Kingston, NY 12401.
