Franklyn C. Williams

Franklyn "Big Frank" C. Williams, Sr., 63, of Mohonk Road, High Falls, died Friday, April 8, 2011 at the Kingston Hospital after a lengthy illness.

Frank had been a foreman for the Ulster County Highway Department, working out of the New Paltz location. He had attended the Community Church of High Falls. He had enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.

Frank was born August 21, 1947 at the Benedictine Hospital, the son of Betty Lounsbery Williams, of High Falls and the late Donald R. Williams, Sr. He was the husband of Jane Meehan Williams; they wed on October 24, 1970. Additionally he is survived by his son Franklyn "Little Frankie" C. Williams, Jr., a brother Donald R. Williams, Jr. and his wife Nancy, brother and sister in law Edward and Virginia Gratis, all of High Falls. Three aunts, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and his loyal companions Lola & Tucker.


Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston. Friends may call on Monday from 11- 2 pm. The service will be held at 2:00 pm. The Rev. Charles Stickley, officiating.
