Franklin W. Fuller of Wilson Avenue, Kingston died Tuesday, July 6, 2004 at TenBroeck Commons in Lake Katrine after a long illness. He was 78.
He was born in Brooklyn on July 21, 1925, a son of the late Clarence and Sara Whitney Fuller.
Mr. Fuller attended NYC public schools and graduated in 1943 from Franklin K. Lane High School. He served in the US Navy during WW II. One June 26, 1948 he married Ann 'Nan' McDonough and then moved to Kingston.
For 36 years Mr. Fuller worked at I.B.M., Kingston and Poughkeepsie as an engineer. A member of the Quarter Century Club, he retired in 1984.
He was a member of the Catholic War Veterans, St. Joseph's Holy Name Society and a former member of Kingston Council #275, Knights of Columbus. A parishioner of St. Joseph's Church, Mr. Fuller served as Eucharistic Minister for many years.
Surviving in addition to his wife are one son David of Loveland, OH; two daughters Ann Stenson of Hurley and Judith LeFevre of Hurley; two grandsons Daniel Stenson and Jeffrey Fuller; two granddaughters Sara Stenson and Kelly Fuller; one sister Ruth Wigley of Ephrata, PA, several nieces and nephews.
Reposing at Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Friday 2-4 and 6-8 PM. The funeral will be Saturday at 11:15 AM from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church at 12:00 PM. Interment will be in Hurley Cemetery.
