Frank V. Kordzikowski, Sr.

Frank V. Kordzikowski Sr., 87, of Harding Avenue, Kingston died Sunday, January 25, 2004 at his home. He was born in Yonkers on September 25, 1916. Mr. Kordzikowski served 23 years and was a retired US Air Force Master Sergeant. He married Catherine E. Heldron Bogart on September 25, 1949. He then worked in Kingston, Poughkeepsie and Newburgh for the NYS Bridge Authority as a toll collector. He later worked in the office and retired in 1982. Surviving in addition to his wife of 54 years are three sons, Frank V. Jr. and his wife Wendy of Port Ewen, Richard and his wife Susan of Stormville and David and his wife Denise of Davie, Florida; two step sons Ronald C. Bogart of High Woods and Robert G. Bogart and his wife Carolyn of Smithtown; two cousins Mary Myers of Kingston and Sister Mary Cassiana, CSSR of Newburgh. 13 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9. The funeral will be Thursday at 9:15 AM from the funeral home. A Funeral Service will then be conducted at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church at 10:00 AM. Rev. LeRoy Ness will officiate. Interment will be in Montrepose Cemetery.
