Frank T. Kless, 72, of Ruby, died Friday, November 6, 2015 at Northern Dutchess Hospital.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was a son of the late Frank J. & Joan E. McMahon Kless. Frank was a graduate of St. John's University before he became a high school teacher on Long Island. He was an actor, singer and ran a local theater at St. Bernard's Church. Frank was a fourth degree and past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus, Levittown Council 3581.
Frank is survived by his wife of 50 years, Peggy Hetherton Kless of Ruby, whom he married on November 20, 1965, two sons, Edward Kless and his wife Christine of Allen, TX, Richard Kless and his wife Susie of Durham, NC, two daughters, Kristin Kless of Kingston, Eileen Gumbel and her husband George of Saugerties, one brother, Richard Kless and his wife Terri of Smithfield, RI, 11 grandchildren, Cailin, Sionain, Eirinn, Colin, Tyler, Sean, Jack, Brian, Jessica, Cara and Jacob. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
In addition to his parents, Frank was predeceased by his brother, James Kless and his sister, Kathleen Smith. Frank will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Monday, November 9, 2015 from 7-9 PM and on Tuesday from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM.
The funeral procession will form from the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:00 AM.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at St. Catherine Laboure Church.
Interment will be private.
