Francis J. Sessler

Frank J. Sessler, Sr., of Kingston, died at The Kingston Hospital on Friday, Feb 18th, 2011. He was born December 21, 1946 in Kingston to the late Francis J. and Catherine Brazee Sessler.


He was married to Sondra Hyatt Sessler who passed away in February of 2003.


Frank was a graduate of Kingston High School. He then became a cook and worked at many restaurants before working at the Ulster County Jail. He also worked at Benedictine Hospital as a security officer. Most recently he worked for Iron Mountain in Esopus.


He loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter and fisherman.


Frank is survived by his partner Judy Muellner of Kingston, two sons Francis J. Sessler Jr. and his wife Christine of Port Ewen and Joshua Sessler of Kingston, a sister Donna Perry of Lake Katrine, a brother Vincent P. Sessler of North Carolina and grandchildren Alexandra Paris Sessler of Port Ewen, Gavin Sessler of Lake Katrine and Balian Sessler of Kingston, as well as several nieces and nephews.
