Bradenton, FL - Frances E. Dougherty, formerly of East Chester St., Kingston died Monday, December 12, 2011 at Tidewell Hospice House in Bradenton, FL. She was 97.




She was born in Kingston, a daughter of the late George and Anna Buboltz Swint.




She was married to James F. Dougherty, who died on May 27th 1981.




A homemaker, she was a member of St. Peter's Church in Kingston.




Surviving is her son, James F. Dougherty Jr. and his wife Edith of Bradenton, FL and her


grandson, James F. Dougherty III also of Bradenton, FL. She is also survived by her sisters, Dorothy Wells, Dolores Swint, and Mary Swint all of Kingston.




Frances was predeceased by her brothers; John, Joseph, and Robert Swint and her sisters Jean Brooks and Helen Fisher.




Entrusted to the care of Luke Keyser of the A. Carr & Son Funeral Home, 65 Lucas Ave, Kingston, NY 12401 where friends may call on Friday from 3 - 6 pm at the funeral home. The funeral procession will form on Saturday at 9:00 AM and process to St. Peter's Church, 93 Wurts St., Kingston for a 10:00 AM funeral Mass. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery.
