Florrie Bell Boone

Florrie "Up" Bell (Harden) Boone, 77, of Kingston, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015. She was born March 23, 1938 to the late Matt and Perry Lee (Harrell) Harden. Florrie was married to Henry Boone Jr.; they wed on December 21st 1963. Henry passed away in 2007.

She was Valedictorian of Hawkinsville High Industrial and Bozeman High School. Florrie worked for MetLife / United Health Care in Lake Katrine for 35 years until her retirement in 2000. She was a member of The Pointe Church.

Florrie is survived by her sons, Steven H. Boone, St. Remy, NY, Marvin Perry Boone, Sr., and his wife Stephanie, Sr. of Huntersville, NC, grandchildren, Tamarah Michele Boone, Marvin Perry Boone, Jr., Jurnee Cassanda Leigh Boone, her siblings, Effie Boston, Samuel Harden, Joseph Harden, Howard Harden, Mathis Harden, as well as many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by 6 sisters and 6 brothers.

Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, where friends and family may visit on Saturday August 15th from 4pm to 6pm. A memorial service will start at 6pm. The funeral service will be held at the Mt. Air Baptist Church and burial will take place in Mt. Air Cemetery, Finleyson, GA.
