Florence P. Klein

Kingston- Florence P. Klein of Deer Run Road died Sunday, August 3, 2003 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 81. She was born May 19, 1922 in New York City, a daughter of the late Louis and Pansy Lunitz Propp. Mrs. Klein was a member of Congregation Agudas Achim and taught in the Hebrew School and Talmud Torah. For many years, she was employed by the Ulster County Board of Elections. She was a longtime member of the Ulster County Democratic Committee. On May 8, 1940, she married the late Aaron E. Klein who passed away on November 8, 1999. Loving wife of the late Aaron E. Klein and mother of Louis Klein and his wife Mary Jane, Phyllis Reer and her husband Lawrence and Brenda Ross and her husband Stuart, sister of the late Ephraim and Samuel Propp. Eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted by Rabbi Y. Yitzchok Hecht at 9:00 am on Wednesday at Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston. Burial will be in Montrepose cemetery.
