Florence Cooper

Florence Cooper, 97, of Lake Katrine, died Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at The Kingston Hospital at 5pm. She was born August 2, 1913 in Spring Valley, NY to the late James and Laurel Cooper.




She was married to Edward Cooper Jr. who passed away in 1971.




Florence was a member of Member of the Full Gospel Rock Church in Highland, NY where she enjoyed singing and praising the lord! She loved to cook and spend time with her family especially her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.




She is survived by her son Noah Jack Cooper and his wife Ethel of Lake Katrine, a daughter in law Julia Cooper, wife of the late Nailer Cooper, of Martinsburg, West Virginia, as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.




In addition to her parents and husband she is predeceased by her sons Edward Cooper III, Alburn B. Cooper and Nailer C. Cooper.




Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, NY 12401, where services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 am with Pastor Noah J. Cooper and Assistant Pastor Alburn B. Cooper officiating.




Christian Burial will follow in Wiltwyck Cemetery, Kingston.




Friends may call on Monday from 5 - 8 pm at the funeral home.
