Filomena R. Fischetti

Filomena R. Fischetti, 91, of Golden Hill Drive, formerly of Bensonhurst, died Sunday, May 3, 2009 at Golden Hill Health Care Center. She was born on Mulberry Street in Little Italy on July 29, 1917, the daughter of the late Donato and Concetta (Vigeritta) Oderina.

She was the wife of the late Alfred Fischetti who died on January 16, 1975.

Filomena was a communicant of St. Finbars Roman Catholic Church in Bensonhurst.

Filomena is survived by her daughter Carol Colao and her husband Rodger of Lake Katrine, NY, son Anthony Fischetti and his wife Raphel of Wayne, NJ, grandchildren Brian Colao and David Colao Michael Fischetti and Nancy Fischetti. She was predeceased by two sisters.


Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston, where the procession will form on Thursday at 9:15 am and proceed to St. Catherine Laboure R.C. Church where at 10:00 am a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 -4 & 7 -9 pm.

Burial in Moravian Cemetery, Staten Island.

The family suggests in lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to Golden Hill Health Care Center, Office of Volunteers, 99 Golden Hill Drive, Kingston, NY 12401
