Faye Mihill

Faye D. Mihill, 77, of Shokan, NY, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Albany Medical Center in Albany, NY. She was born on July 28, 1945 in Canton, NY, daughter of the late Otis and Dorothy (Henry) McDonald.

Faye was married to Vernon H. Mihill, they wed on November 24, 1967. She was a graduate of Salmon River High School and attended Houghton College. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked at Ten Broeck Commons in Lake Katrine for 27 years.  She was a compassionate nurse who took great pride in caring for her patients. Faye was a member of the Wiltwyck Quilt Guild, and enjoyed quilting, crocheting and embroidery.

She is survived by husband Vernon Mihill of Shokan, her children, Vernon Mihill, III and his wife Lorna of East Greenbush, and Amy Lou Stewart of Dover, Delaware, her grandchildren, Jacob, Colin, Gregory, and Jacqui, her siblings, Kenneth McDonald, Glenna Pearson, Joanne O'Connor, Ellen Moran, Joyce Waters, and Mark McDonald, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other dear family members.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Thursday, December 22, 2022 from 1pm to 3pm with the funeral service following at 3pm.
