Evelyn Snow

Evelyn M. Snow, 76, of Port Ewen, died Monday, August 20, 2018 at her home. Born in High Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Peter & Myrtis (Every) Ploss. Evelyn was employed as a maintenance specialist most of her career and had a great passion for it. She retired in 2015. Evelyn was full of life and had a great sense of humor. Evelyn is survived by her husband of 57 years, Gene A. Snow of Port Ewen, her three children: Gene Snow Jr. and his wife Donna of Port Ewen, Todd Snow of Cape Coral, FL and Holly Snow-Schuler of Hurley. Five siblings: William Ploss, Vaughn & Linda Ploss of Florida, John Quick of Kingston, Muriel Quick of Kingston, and Donald Quick of Accord. Four grandchildren: Kayleigh, Amber, Julie and Colton. Calling hours will take place at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave in Kingston on Friday August 24th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday August 25th at 10:00 AM at Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Gram officiating. Entombment in Wiltwyck Mausoleum will follow.
