Eunice Poorman, 85, of Kingston, NY, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at Northern Dutchess Hospital in Rhinebeck, NY. She was born on March 11, 1938, daughter of the late William and Dorcas (Moore) Storring. She was married to Robert E. Poorman Jr., Robert passed away on June 30, 1992.
She volunteered at Benedictine Hospital and several local soup kitchens for many years. She also knitted countless blankets and scarves, donating many to local charities and Veteran’s organizations, receiving an award for her work. Eunice enjoyed gambling and going to the casino. She made many at Ferncliff laugh with her inappropriate humor.
Eunice is survived by her daughters, Lisa Restaino-Bodie, Laura Morelli and her husband Tom, and Leslie Bruhn and her husband Tom, her grandchildren, Jack Restaino, Bobby Benjamin, Carrie Kerbert, Cindy Palm, Derrick Bruhn, Valerie Bruhn, Bryan Bruhn, Alicia Tatum, Joe Harkins, and Rob Harkins, 15 great grandchildren, her siblings, Elizabeth Lupia and Dennis Storring, her sister in law, Lucia Poorman, several half siblings, as well as many other dear family members. In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by her daughter, Linda Harkins and her granddaughter Aileen Harkins.

Arrangements entrusted to Keyser Funeral & Cremation Service, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY 12401, where family and friends may visit on Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 10am to 12pm. The funeral service will take place at 12pm with burial following in Mount Marion Cemetery, Mount Marion, NY.
