Errol Randolph Nadler

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Errol R. Nadler. Errol had a major brain bleed two weeks ago, and has been lovingly cared for at the Westchester Medical Center since that time. He passed at the age of 73.

Errol was married to Estelle (Epstein) Nadler in 1970, and they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in June of 2020. They had 2 children; Scott and Jeremy. Scott and his wonderful wife, Kelly, gave Errol and Stelle, 2 very special grandchildren - Matthew and Jordan. Errol loved his sons and his grandsons whole heartedly. He was always there for his family - every step of the way.

Errol established Behavioral Healthcare of NY with his partner, Carmel Gold over 30 years ago. As a therapist, Errol was respected by both his clients and his fellow counselors. He always said that the best therapy, was to help people laugh.

During his lifetime, he received many awards and accolades. He excelled scholastically in elementary and high school, receiving many awards. He was awarded a total regent's academic scholarship to attend Brooklyn College for his Bachelor's Degree, and a total scholarship plus living stipend to the University of Chicago where he received his Master's Degree. In recent years, he was named in, "Who's who in American Social Work."

Entrusted to the care of Simpson Hammerl Funeral Home, 326 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY 12401. A graveside burial will be held at 12pm on Sunday October 2, 2022 at Woodstock Cemetery, Rock City Road, Woodstock, NY. He will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, in Errol's name, would be much appreciated.
