Ernst Richard Kirchner

Ernst Richard Kirchner, 88, of Poughkeepsie, NY, died Saturday, March 27, 2010 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, NY. He was born February 22, 1922 in Spokane, WA to the late George and Elsie (Harris) Kirchner.

He was married to Frieda (Studt) Kirchner. Frieda died on January 9th 2001.

He served in the United States Army.

Ernst was a Manager for IBM in Kingston, NY, before retiring in 1977.

Ernst is survived by his daughter Luanne Lundy, Poughkeepsie, NY, daughter Diane Hammond, Pecatonica, IL, granddaughter Kimberly Pollard, Rockford, IL, grandson James Hammond, great grandson Aidan Hammond, great grandson Ethan Hammond, great granddaughter Katelyn Hammond, great grandson Linden Hammond.

Entrusted to the care of the Keyser Funeral Service, Inc., 326 Albany Avenue, Kingston.

A Memorial Service will be held in August 2010.
